• A. Root: Check if your roots are darker, lighter, or color-treated. This is particularly important for extensions applied close to the roots.

• B. Mid-Shaft: This is the crucial area. Focus on the shades in the middle of your hair, as this is where most extensions are applied.

• C. Ends: Determine if your ends are lighter or darker than the lengths due to sun exposure or treatments.

Rovia Expert Tip: If you are unsure, always refer to the mid-shaft (B). Extensions should never be chosen in a lighter color than your natural hair; a slightly darker shade, however, is perfectly fine.

Cool Tones (Ash, Platinum) These shades contain no gold, red, or yellow undertones. They often appear silvery, gray, or very muted. In sunlight, they show a silvery or slightly bluish shimmer.
